This series was wonderful and the links you provided were very useful. I'm really interested in creating my own now, it's seems like such a great outlet to show the world who you are. Is there a certain program you use or recommend?
I purchased a set of CDs of heraldry art from Armorial Gold. Here's the link. http://www.heraldryclipart.com/
This is a quite extensive set and very well done.
I like to work in Adobe Illustrator. However, the Armorial Gold art can be used in many different programs, which are delineated at the link above. Click on "All Products," then on "File Formats" to see a list of programs.
Check out my October '08 articles to learn how to make your own coat of arms.
About CastleLyons
I'm just an ordinary person who lives in an ordinary house in an ordinary town. But I like to dream. To a lover of all things medieval, whose last name is Lyons, what would be more natural than dreaming about an Irish town called Castlelyons?
