The clouds don't lie, huh? Well, someone did.The most recent fake story is that this cloud formation was seen above Haiti just before the earthquake in January 2010. That's interesting, since I had seen it long before that. In fact, it was circulating at least since 2004, when people claimed to have seen it above Florida just before Hurricane Charley.
The really sad part about the retouched image, though, is that it comes from a very shady source. It's supposed to represent something lewd that I will not repeat here. Even the name of the website where it came from is offensive, so I won't post that here either.

When I said "people in high places in the Christian realm," I meant people in HIGH places. If our Church leaders are among the gullible ones who accept these rumors as fact, what do you think the world will think of us? No wonder the world dismisses Christians as fools.
Well, at least we have these words to lean on:
"Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise..." (1 Corinthians 1:26,27)
